How to install Vesta Control Panel on CentOS 7?

Vesta Control Panel is an easy website management control panel. It helps you easily manage your websites, email accounts, FTP accounts and much more. This tutorial explains how to install Vesta Control Panel on your server, running CentOS 7 operating system.

 

Prerequisites:
  • A fresh installation of RHEL / CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu OS.
  • Supported operating systems:
    • RHEL / CentOS 5, 6, 7.
    • Debian 6, 7, 8.
    • Ubuntu 12.04 – 16.04.

 

Minimum System Requirements:
  • 512 MB RAM or more.
  • 20 GB HDD or more.
  • 1 Ghz CPU or more.

We will now install curl for Linux (if it is not yet installed), to make sure the Vesta Control Panel installation goes well.

Command (CentOS): yum install curl -y

Command (Ubuntu, Debian): sudo apt-get install curl -y

 

2. Install Vesta Control Panel.

And now we are ready to install Vesta CP with a single command from the terminal. Before the installation begins, you will be prompted a few times to enter a FQDN Hostname and your administrator email address. The installation will take about 15 minutes.

Command: cd /tmp/ && curl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install.sh && bash vst-install.sh
